An in person Beginner’s Sourdough class where we will go into detail of starter basics, bulk fermenting, second proofing and baking.

Starter Basics
We will go over what a starter is, how to feed and maintain it and when to use.

Mixing/Bulk Fermenting
Mixing and bulk fermentation are the scientific aspects of sourdough. We will go in-depth on key signs of proofed bread and what to look for.

Shaping and Final Proof
Shaping is a vital part of the process. We will demonstrate shaping methods and go over final proof.

Baking
We will demonstrate how to bake and score a loaf and taste test at the end of the course.
